When Susan and Tony decided to open a new toy shop in Winchester in 2008, they asked me to design the new shop's branding. Their shop was to be called Childhood's Dream and their aim was to bring high quality, high play value affordable toys to Winchester. Their strap line was "brilliant toys made to last" and to fulfil this they planned to go out and find the best toys they could. Wooden Toys and other Traditional Toys are a key focus for Childhood's Dream.

The idea for the logo came from a fushion between counting sheep to go to sleep and fluffy, dream-like clouds. The 'heap of sheep' as they were affectionately called, were hand-drawn to ensure their characters shone through. The colours were kept bright and clean to appeal to children and adults alike, and the typeface deliberately chosen for it's balance, friendliness and easy legibility. Apart from the logo and brand design, I also created signage, posters, stationery, leaflets, lapel badges and bags for them.
